What species is it?!
Identifying the baby you've rescued.
Some of these species' infants look awfully similar. But their care varies dramatically, so you need to know what you have. These are the ones that commonly get confused:
Pinkie Squirrels
- notice the tiny ears and squared off muzzles.
Pinkie Opossum
- notice the larger, pink ears, almost horsey, long face, and the possibility of an abdominal pouch.
