Feeding
- NEVER, NEVER feed a wild mammal cow's milk.  This is just about the worst thing you can give them, as it will devastate their digestive systems and cause diarrhea and dehydration, the very thing you're trying to avoid.  One of the safest formulas to use for any species is Esbilac Puppy Milk Replacer.  While it is by no means ideal for the long term, as each species has specific nutritional requirements and thus the formula will have to be modified appropriately, it's a pretty safe start.  Always warm the formula before feeding.

Wounds - Flush out open wounds with saline to remove debris.  Any maggots can be treated with Capstar, or will have to be picked out with tweezers.  Massive infestations respond well and quickly to Capstar, and are a reason to get the animal to a veterinarian or rehabilitator as soon as possible.
